Our social media channels are a powerful set of communication tools for us, playing a crucial role in helping us reach, engage and inform people about human rights here in the UK. That’s why we’re looking for an enthusiastic, innovative thinker to work across a full spectrum of social media to promote our storytelling on human rights and raise the profile of our brand.

Job Description

Reporting to our Creative Director, Sarah Wishart, you will generate material for our whole range of different audiences and grow and diversify our social media following. You’ll need to manage short-term and long-term projects simultaneously and use monitoring tools to evaluate the success of campaigns, feeding back to colleagues and helping the organisation learn as it goes. With your help, our growing team will get the most out of social media across our existing channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn, and look to expand into new spaces (such as Tiktok or Reddit).

You will play a key role in supporting the Editorial and Film teams on integrated social media planning and the creation and delivery of a social media strategy that increases engagement with and value for the organisation. You will make recommendations on best practice when it comes to both content and moderation.

Alongside this, an important part of the role will be to seek out opportunities for our messaging about human rights to join wider, relevant conversations on social media.

The Details
