The Brand
Partnerships Bulletin and P3 Bulletin are international brands providing valuable news and data on partnerships between the public and private sector to finance, procure, and manage large infrastructure projects such as roads, schools and hospitals. We do this by publishing magazines and websites, and organising a number of events including conferences, seminars and awards ceremonies that take place in cities including London and New York.
Projects Bulletin is our online database of global public-private partnerships projects. It enables subscribers to track project activity, discover key dates, contract terms and values, find out which organisations are involved, and view league tables which rank organisations by volume of projects.
The Role
As Researcher, you will be responsible for increasing the volume and ensuring accuracy of all data published on www.projectsbulletin.com. The role encompasses a variety of research and administrative tasks involved in managing the Projects Bulletin database.
The key responsibilities include:
- Updating the projects database – adding and editing project information
- Collecting information from project owners by email and phone
- Regularly reviewing the Projects Bulletin user experience
- Checking the accuracy of the league tables published by Projects Bulletin
- Sharing project updates with the Partnerships Bulletin and P3 Bulletin editorial team
- Compiling any other data as required on an ad-hoc basis
- Identifying trends in the data that can be used by the editorial team
This role requires a self-motivated and energetic individual with excellent attention to detail and the following skills:
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to analyse and prioritise diverse tasks
- Extremely organised with the ability to create and implement systems
- Highly literate and numerate
- Languages: Fluent in English and in Spanish or French
- IT literate: Good understanding of office systems and Excel with the ability to manipulate data and create spreadsheets
