About the Product Content Assistant role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Product Content Assistant to support the Product Content Executive in the timely and accurate delivery of online assets, that collectively drive the online experience for the Furniture Village customer. This role will require you to liaise closely with both internal and external team members, be exceptionally detail-oriented, have excellent administrative and time-management skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.
Key Responsibilities and results of our Product Content Assistant:
- Support the Product Content Executive in delivering a suite of assets, including cut outs and lifestyle imagery, required for sale launches against time critical schedules. You will also be required to check colour-mapped imagery, copy, dimensions and 360s.
- Work closely with several internal teams and an external agency to achieve set deliverables and deadlines.
- Raise briefs for all assets in a timely and accurate manner and work with the relevant creatives to ensure that the work delivered meets the desired objective.
- Be responsible for carrying out stringent quality control checks to ensure all product imagery conforms to our brand guidelines, and to follow through on any actions that may result from this.
- Raise photography shoot lists for the cut outs.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain supplier imagery if required and, in conjunction with the Product Content Executive, ensure that all supplier imagery is in keeping with our brand guidelines.
- Support the Product Content Executive by managing a workflow tracker to ensure all deadlines for assets required for site launches are captured and to keep all key stakeholders updated on progress.
- Support the Product Content Executive in working closely with the Trading Team to drive the online experience for the customer by maximising the use of all assets received.
- Undertake regular competitor analysis, recommend improvements and highlight new developments.
Key skills and attributes we are looking for in our Product Content Assistant:
- Have strong administrative skills including excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Have strong communication and relationship building skills, with a commitment to deliver exceptional service in all interactions (both internal and external).
- Possess initiative and drive, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and a sense of humour!
- Have the ability to multi-task, maintaining focus under pressure and ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
- Preferably be from an ecommerce or retail background.
- Have a working knowledge of a content management system.
- Have a sound grasp of the photography process.
- Be flexible, adaptable and a reliable team member.
