Do you want to make your name researching and reporting on an emerging policy area? Do you want to investigate, interview and analyse rather than re-writing press releases?
That’s what we do at PolicyTracker. We are the only newsletter devoted to spectrum policy, an increasingly important part of the telecoms, broadcasting, satellite and technology sectors. A highly respected publication, we have been in existence for 20 years and all the major players in the field are subscribers. We also have a subscription-based research service and provide consultancy services.
We need a journalist keen on pitching new story ideas who can identify the issues that matter to companies, regulators and government then convert this into news, features and analysis pieces. These will be delivered via our subscription website policytracker.com. Take a trial to find out more! (Mention that you’re a job applicant),
You will also work on the website for our SignalTracker mobile app, where the target audience is consumers rather than the regulatory specialists who use PolicyTracker. On top of that, there is an opportunity to host episodes for our monthly podcast.
This post is ideally suited to a graduate with journalism qualifications and some professional experience. Most of your time will be spent writing articles and brief summaries but you can also contribute to our research activities. The beat is global and there are opportunities for travel.
This is not a working-from-home position and is based in our offices in Vauxhall in Central London. For the right candidate, we will offer a highly competitive salary.
Our staff go on to big things – former post-holders went to work as consultants and in policy analysis for regulators and trade bodies.
