We are looking for trainee reporters to cover London’s crown courts and tribunals. This is not a rewrites job or interviewing shopkeepers – it’s about working on some of the biggest stories of the day for national newspapers.

You will work closely with experienced editors who will help you develop as a reporter. You should be willing to take pictures where circumstances allow. Ideally you will have at least 60wpm shorthand or be willing to learn it – very quickly.

Salary: £20,000pa. We also pay bonuses for good exclusives
