The Lynn News newspaper in West Norfolk is looking for a bright, enthusiastic trainee reporter to join our top team.

Ours is a bi-weekly paper (Tuesday and Friday) with a thriving digital presence. More than 12m page views last year online show our reach in what is a lively news patch.

We want a junior prepared to put in the hours and the effort on some cracking stories. Apart from offering some sensational countryside and having some regular royal residents at Sandringham, we cover the towns of Lynn, Hunstanton, Downham Market, Swaffham and Fakenham as well as the villages along the coast.

It is a 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday position. NCTJ-training with shorthand a must. Driving licence preferred. We are part of the family-owned Iliffe Media group, committed to the very best values of excellence in local journalism.

Send full CV to Mark Leslie, Editor, Lynn News, 17 Tuesday Market Place, King’s Lynn PE30 1JN. You can email applications to mark.leslie@iliffepublishing.co.uk.

The closing date for applications is August 2nd. Please mention Journo Resources when you apply – it really helps us out.
