Alliance News is seeking a reporter to join its UK-based business news team covering companies, economics and markets globally. 

No prior experience of covering finance is required, although that would be a bonus.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate prior interest in business news, good journalism skills, and the ability to work quickly and accurately. The role would suit someone looking to get into financial journalism or taking a next step in their career.

The position is work-from-home and doesn’t require office attendance, but applicants must have permission to work in the UK.

Alliance News is a London-based news agency aimed at financial professionals and retail investors, with readership in leading dealing rooms and on prominent websites.

Starting salary: £26,000 pa.
