We are looking for someone who can manage multiple editorial projects and ensure they are delivered on time and to our high standards. This is a varied role, working across all our teams, including edit, social, design, production and research, for a variety of clients.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Editorial background – you’ll be managing small editorial projects yourself and working with editors and freelancers on bigger projects.
- The ability to untangle complicated projects and drive them forward – from conception to deadline, we need a safe pair of hands we can trust to get the job done.
- Flexibility and the ability to work with a wide variety of people – you’ll be liaising with Thrive team members as well as global clients.
- Great written and verbal communication skills – an absolute must for this job, particularly as we’ll need you to tackle ad hoc writing and editing tasks alongside project management.
- Excellent organisational, administrative and time management skills – can you juggle multiple projects at once and keep tabs on them all?
- An eye for detail, a high level of accuracy and the ability to work to tight deadlines – we need someone who’s not going to drop the ball.
The person
We’re looking for someone who is great with clients, as well as understanding internal workload and pressures. Someone who understands the difference between good content and great content. Who can hit a deadline and come in on budget. Someone who can develop and hone processes, to iron out bumps and pre-empt any problems. Someone who knows their way around spreadsheets and schedules, and loves it when a plan comes together. A team player, someone with a can-do attitude, who is practical and hands-on and pitches in when needed.
Sound like you?
If so, we’d love to hear from you. We are a small, friendly team with flexible working, interesting work on a range of topic areas, and a supportive environment, including an in-house wellbeing team. Thrive is based in Norwich city centre but we are happy to consider remote applicants or a mix of remote and office-based working.
