Times Higher Education is looking for a journalist to create content for its 2022 Sustainable Development Goals Congress.

Suitable for an experienced news or features journalist, possibly freelance, this role requires someone to write live interview content, secure interviewees to appear on panels at the SDG Congress and work with both colleagues at THE and the event’s partner university to make sure the topics for discussion are signed off by all parties.

The SDG Congress content manager will also be required to be on-site for the event and brief both the interviewees and the live interviewers (THE journalists) before it takes place.

Contract Details

This is a 12-month, fixed-term contract. The hours required are a standard working week but there is flexibility to undertake other, non-competing freelance work around this role. Remote workers will also be considered, but some occasional travel within the UK is necessary.
