About The Bureau
The Bureau is the UK’s largest independent investigative journalism organisation. We exist to inform the public about the realities of power in today’s world. Our investigations expose systemic wrongs, challenge misinformation and ultimately spark positive change. We believe in facts, such as that human activity is causing climate change, but we are fiercely non-partisan. Our aim is to uncover wrongs and tell human stories that bring home to audiences and power-holders what the impact is on humans. And we follow through by getting our findings into the hands of the right people, so they don’t just become tomorrow’s chip paper but can trigger change.
We embrace a collaborative spirit, partnering with outlets around the world. Our stories have led the news in dozens of global outlets from the New York Times to the BBC, as well as publications in countries most affected by our reporting.
