Today is a big day for Journo Resources – after almost two years in the making, we’re finally launching preorders for our first ever physical, IRL product. Our new, limited-run magazine-slash-workbook will ship in January, with every single penny raised going to support the second round of our Journo Resources Fellowship.

The Yearbook will be your guide to navigating your journalism career in 2022, wherever you’re currently at. A ring-bound workbook you can return to again and again, it’s packed with in-depth features and personal development exercises you can return to again and again.

You can buy your copy as a one off for just £11 or if you take out a ‘Tea and Cake’ membership with us on Steady you’ll receive your copy free of charge, as well as a load of other great benefits, like free access to all our events.

Featuring the work of our 2020/21 fellows, and a gorgeous custom illustration from Thea de Gallier, The Yearbook 2022 is 100 pages of inspiration, planning, and fun to help you navigate your way through the media industry.

The magazine will ship in January 2022, making it a perfect festive or New Years’ gift, but our print run is extremely limited, so we would advise pre-ordering early to avoid disappointment! You can order a one off here, or sign-up for a Tea and Cake membership here.

The Yearbook - Supporting The Journo Resources Fellowship

In 2020, we launched our first ever fellowship, bringing together 12 people from across the UK about to start their careers in journalism. The scheme gives them 1-2-1 mentoring, a paid commission, and intense workshops.

Since then, almost three-quarters have gone on to their paid work in the industry. Our fellows now work across the industry, gaining jobs at everywhere from the BBC and The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine to Newsquest and pa Media.

However, we haven’t yet raised the funding we need to run the scheme again. That’s why we’re launching The Yearbook, with every penny raised from sales going to support the next round of Journo Resources Fellows for 2022.
