November 6, 2018 (Updated )

Journo Resources is delighted to be holding our second event of 2018, hosted and supported by The Telegraph at their offices in Victoria.

At this free event we’ll be equipping you with all the tools you need to succeed during your first three years of journalism.

We’ll be taking the discussions further than just how to get your first job (though we’ll of course be covering that too), and talking about what you need to do next, as well as providing practical takeaways to help you get there.

Your free ticket will include:

• An Interactive Panel Discussion chaired by Journo Resources’ Founder and Director Jem Collins. She’ll be joined by:

    • Victoria Sanusi, Digital Culture Editor at the i
    • Tom Ough, Writer and Commissioning Editor, Telegraph Weekend, formerly Editorial Trainee
    • Duarte Dias, News Video Producer, The Telegraph
    • Bonnie McLaren, Showbiz Reporter, The Sun, formerly an apprentice at Isle of Wight County Press

Professional headshots to use as your photo byline, taken and edited by Ollie Cole, a freelance photojournalist.

• An informal drop-in clinic with two national commissioning editors, Asa Bennett (Brexit Commissioning Editor at The Telegraph) and Ellen Scott (Lifestyle Editor at Metro.co.uk)

• Complimentary drinks, nibbles, and a goodie bag to take away.

Tickets to this event are strictly limited and are available on a first come first served basis. If you have any problems we’re all ears! Drop us a line hello@journoresources.org.uk.

This event is hosted at The Telegraph’s office in Victoria on November 21, 6-9pm. We will be providing drinks and nibbles thanks to support from The Telegraph.
