We are working towards a nationwide touring festival for 2022 – which is focused around the moon! Through 8 festival strands, using Sports, Music, Film, Journalism & more – we are aiming to activate radical imagination across all channels of the UK and well beyond.

And so we’re looking for young reporters who will be trained and supported to help our team to:

 Gather information from participants, community groups and people working on Festival

 Supporting face-to-face, online, and print communication and marketing activities

 Publicising engagement activities in your local city through flyers, posters, social media and networking with residents, local groups and organisations

 Undertake evaluation and reporting about what you find ⎯ Help the team develop new ways to gather information from the community

You will receive training to develop research and reporting skills (surveys, interviews, discussion groups etc.)

You will be fully supported and get an amazing experience working on a nationwide touring festival

For this role you will have to: ⎯
 Live in one of these cities (Leicester, Southampton, London, Newcastle)

 Care about your local area and want to make a positive difference

 Enjoy speaking with people of all ages

 Be able to work as a part of a team, be reliable and motivated

 Want to learn new skills

 Be willing to work flexibly, including some evening and weekend work

 Be aged 18 – 25 and have the right to live and work in the UK

The hours of work: Part-time sessional hours, flexible to suit reporting, local outreach needs, with up to 1200 hours over 8 months for 15 Young people

Salary: £11 p/hr
