Small Business Saturday is hiring a press officer for its 2021 campaign.

In its eighth year, Small Business Saturday supports and celebrates the UK’s small businesses, encouraging consumers to ‘shop local’ and support businesses in their communities on the day itself – 4 December – and beyond.

We are looking for a candidate with a passion for media and making a difference. You will need excellent writing and communications skills, and to be able to work independently in a busy, fast paced environment and as part of our fun, close-knit team.

Experience of working with media is required and a degree level education is preferred (but not mandatory).

The role is remote/home based in the UK. It is a temporary, full-time position, starting in August until mid-December 2021 and the salary would be London living wage (£10.85 per hour).
