The role is based in our smart offices close to Blackfriars station.

Key Areas Of Responsibility Include:

  • Monitoring the Complaints inbox and regulatory phone line.
  • Filing case files on the Impress Server and logging cases/tickets on the CRM.
  • Be the first point of contact in the Complaints process, dealing with the initial complaints process up to the point of handing over to the Senior Regulatory Executive for escalated case management.
  • Individual would be responsible for creating and formatting the Annual Returns complaints data spreadsheet – ensuring all data is inputted and performing quality checks.
  • Chasing publishers for late Annual Returns submissions and responding to technical enquiries.
  • Compliance checks for publishers.
  • Undertaking research and communications tasks as required.
  • Updating historic case entries on the CRM.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will:

  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Be educated to degree level or to be in the process of studying for a relevant degree, or demonstrate equivalent experience
  • Enjoy a varied workload, juggling multiple responsibilities and deadlines
  • Have a professional manner, able to communicate professionally and confidently by email and phone
  • Be an experienced user of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Quick learner of content management software
  • Have strong attention to detail and excellent written English, able to communicate clearly and coherently
  • Be confident with numbers
  • Be appreciative of the confidential nature of the work even when outside the workplace including on social media
  • Be self-motivated and prepared to provide support as and when needed
  • Have knowledge of the complaints procedure and Regulatory Scheme
  • Have knowledge of Impress’ remit to consider complaints, identifying correct responses
  • Be personable, with strong soft skills and empathy
