British American Household Staffing (BAHS) is a domestic staffing company serving the UHNW and HNW communities in the US, UK, and internationally. This year, Anita Rogers, the founder of BAHS, is launching a sister company: British American World Times (BAWT), a luxury publication serving the same communities.

British American World Times is seeking ambitious early-career journalists and writers to create content for digital and print use. The schedule is flexible and contributors will be paid for each commissioned article. We are ideally seeking writers living in the UK who are knowledgeable about UK current events.

We are a new publication serving an international audience interested in business, politics, finance, travel, art, culture, education, and the issues shaping modern global life. Our readership includes business leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, and ultra-high-net-worth families seeking thoughtful, well-researched journalism.

We’re looking for curious writers who enjoy diving deep into a subject and explaining it clearly and thoughtfully. We will train all new writers on the brand voice.

Responsibilities

• Pitch and write original researched articles
• Produce accurate, engaging, and well-sourced journalism
• Meet agreed-upon deadlines
• Collaborate with editors to refine stories

We’re Looking For Applicants With…

• Recent graduates or current graduate students in Journalism, English, Political Science, Economics, Finance, Business, International Relations, History, or related fields
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Strong research abilities and attention to detail
• Intellectual curiosity and sound news judgment
• An interest in international affairs, business, politics, and finance
• Previous experience with a student newspaper, magazine, newsletter, internship, or independent publication is a plus but not required
