News Associates is hiring a freelance journalism tutor to join our Manchester newsroom up to two days a week.

The successful applicant will have at least two years’ experience working in journalism and have a range of skills to teach across our courses, as well as helping run our in-house website Mancunian Matters.

You’ll be bursting with ideas, boast an understanding of the importance of NCTJ-accredited journalism training and be passionate enough to inspire the next generation of newsroom leaders.

Working as part of a small team, you will have scope to be part of developing the way we deliver our courses in a constantly evolving media landscape to help our trainees stay ahead of the game.

Being NCTJ trained or having knowledge of the NCTJ syllabus is desirable.
