About the Role
We are looking for a Freelance Editorial Assistant & Researcher to help shape the stories, content, and events that drive product conversations worldwide. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, research, and editorial production, with a strong understanding of the product management space.
You will support our content team across three key areas:

Story Research & Speaker Scouting – Discover compelling product stories, industry trends, and expert voices for our events and editorial content.

Podcast & Editorial Production – Transform podcast episodes and event talks into high-impact articles, newsletters, and social content.

Editorial Assistant Tasks – Help with scheduling, formatting, copyediting, and ensuring a smooth editorial workflow.

Key Responsibilities
Story Research & Speaker Scouting

Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, case studies, and emerging product leaders.

Identify and assess potential event speakers, keeping a running database of thought leaders.

Provide monthly research reports with five to ten compelling story leads.
Podcast Production & Content Repurposing

Assist in guest sourcing for The Product Experience podcast (one to two guests per month).

Repurpose content into newsletters, LinkedIn posts, and blog articles.
Editorial Assistance

Assist in research for news articles.

Support the guest post workflow by liaising with contributors.
Who You Are
-
A strong researcher and storyteller who can identify compelling narratives.

Experienced in editorial production, content writing, or journalism.

Familiar with tools like WordPress, Notion, Google Docs, and podcast production tools (a plus, but not required).

Desirable but not essential: Familiarity with product management and technology trends, with a network of industry thought leaders being a plus.
Role Details
Location: Remote (UK or Europe preferred)
Freelance Contract: Part-time, flexible hours
Budget: $1.5k–$2k per month (depending on workload and experience)
