The Festival of Journalism 2022 is a series of free events across the UK offering training, insight and connection for journalists at every stage of their careers.
The festival is free, and will feature speakers, trainers and panellists offering unmissable insight, tools, skills and development for journalists at all levels. Session across the programme include:
- Using TikTok for journalsm,
- Investigative journalism and looking into company accounts,
- Surviving and thriving as a freelancer,
- How to edit your own work and produce clean copy,
- Media law,
- And many, many more.
You can register for all days at any location, or attend the days or sessions that particularly interest you. Just be sure to register in advance.
The programme runs from 12pm to 6pm each day, and will be followed by a social event so you can connect with speakers and your fellow journalists. All venues are fully accessible.
Whether you are just starting out or are well-established in the industry, we want to help you develop as a journalist and take the next step in your career.
