The role

To take the quality of our brands to the next level, we are currently looking for a financial content writer with extensive knowledge of online trading and investing. The role will involve writing content that helps guide beginners through the process of investing online, providing insights that can help experienced investors hone their skills, and explaining the latest developments in this ever-changing space.

Key accountabilities

• Work closely with the SEO managers, lead content editors and other team members to create content ideas and follow plans to fruition
• Research, write, and publish educational content on all aspects of investing on a daily basis
• Write sharp and concise content that engages users with no-nonsense guidance
• Break down complicated topics to educate and inform our users in easy-to-understand terms
• Making sure all content is accurate and fact-checked so we’re giving users the best possible information
• Working from given content briefs as well as creating and following your own guidelines
• Broaden your skill set by supporting key areas of cross-departmental content marketing needs

Requirements

• Demonstrable knowledge of investing and online trading, including stocks, forex, commodities, ETFs, and crypto
• Two years’ experience in a digital content writing role
• Intermediate editorial experience, you should be able to research, plan, structure, execute and fact check your own work as well as assess someone else’s content
• Basic knowledge of marketing principles (SEO, audiences, tone of voice, content types and their needs etc.)
• Native English speaker
• Impeccable written communication skills
• Have a keen eye for detail and high standards

• £22,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
