We celebrate incredible real people from the UK and across the planet. The agency is recruiting a Features Reporter with an indefatigable passion for human interest stories, and a proven track record of making an impact in national newspapers, womens magazines and television.

By joining our skilled team of staff writers, you will find your incredible stories published in the UK national newspapers, online news outlets, and womens magazines. Your most impactful case studies will find themselves featured on UK television shows such as This Morning, Lorraine and Good Morning Britain, as well-as world famous US talk shows.

To achieve this, you must have a passion for human interest, and the drive to make your ideas a reality by finding outstanding case studies, and forming a real connection with the people behind the story. Depending on productivity, you will have access to our generous company bonus scheme.

You must be a people person, full to the brim with ideas, and have a fluency for social media. Your writing must be fast, accurate and to the point, with a flare for identifying a jaw-dropping top line. You must be positive and an exceptionally hard worker. A knowledge of visual storytelling and how to select the right images and video content is also desirable. Experience of working with photographers to syndicate their material would be an advantage.

You will be a reporter with 12-months experience at a newspaper, magazine or agency.

MDWFeatures is the sister agency of Media Drum World. We specialise in international picture-video syndication and the production of real-life feature stories.

From our global network of independent journalists, photographers and videographers, we source and supply exclusive words-picture-video content to the UK national newspapers, broadcasters, book publishers, commercial clients and international media outlets.

Our skilled editorial team works closely with media clients, public relations professionals and members of the public to ensure our carefully chosen stories are placed with world-renowned news, magazine and broadcast brands.

Requirements

· You must be a positive person and an exceptionally hard worker.

· Knowledge of visual storytelling and how to select the right images and video content is desirable. You must be an expert in social media.

· You must be equipped to work from home effectively, with your own well-maintained computer and a fast and reliable internet connection.

· Depending on your productivity, you will have access to our generous company bonus scheme.

· You will be a reporter with 12-months paid experience at a newspaper, digital publisher, magazine, or agency.
