Job description

Alliance Publishing Trust (APT) is seeking a highly motivated, confident designer to join our team.

Reporting to the magazine editor, you will be responsible for designing Alliance magazine. You’ll work closely with both the magazine editor and the features editor to bring each issue to life – from initial concept to delivery. You’ll also be responsible for creating artwork for Alliance’s regular columns and premium features.

In addition to magazine design, you will lead and manage the creative development of other key projects, including Alliance’s annual report, promotional packs and materials, and brand assets.

The successful candidate will also be a willing participant in all APT discussions and play an active role in driving the organisation forward. Illustration experience is desired and knowledge of the philanthropy sector is also desired but not required.

Supported by some of the world’s leading philanthropic foundations, Alliance Publishing Trust (APT) is an international publisher of material on philanthropy, including our flagship publication Alliance, a quarterly print and digital magazine on philanthropy and social investment worldwide.

APT aims to create a culture of collective involvement where all team members can contribute to both the direction and processes of the organisation. We aim to be a fluid organisation, being able to introduce new ideas in quick time, enabling us to punch above our weight and deliver impact at a level beyond our size.
