Role and Responsibilities

Your key role will be assisting in delivering our flagship show Football Ramble, our award-winning European football podcast On The Continent and our industry-leading women’s football show Upfront by helping with preparation, research, scheduling and support for the producer and on air hosts. The key part of your role will involve day-to-day assistance with production processes alongside producing social media assets to support each release. As you grow into the role you will be expected to produce occasional episodes in the regular producer’s absence.

There will be occasional research work required across our narrative documentary projects, reporting into the Head of Sport and Head of Narrative.

You will have excellent football knowledge, a strong interest in audio and podcasting and an ability to follow instructions as well as the judgement to know when to act on your own initiative. The successful candidate will have good written skills and be tech literate. Our team and the dynamic within it is the most important thing to us at Stak, so you will also be friendly, personable and helpful.

Requirements

– Experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition (essential) and Adobe Photoshop (preferred)

– Experience of editing video clips for social media efficiently and effectively.

– Understanding of various social media platforms and adjusting strategy to suit each particular platform (X, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube in particular)

– Strong football knowledge, particularly around the Premier League. A working knowledge of European football and women’s football would be beneficial.

– Strong written communication

– Availability to work around the football calendar, including occasional work in evenings and at weekends
