Content Producer

www.greatbritishmag.co.uk is the UK’s only lifestyle media channel for the 900,000+ international students in the UK – and we need you to help us grow the brand even further.

These guys want a ‘Best British Friend’ to guide them through their time in the UK so that they can do, see and experience the very best of what the UK has to offer – all whilst getting a first-class education.

What will the role involve?

Editorial:

  • To create compelling weekly and monthly content for our diverse audience who are 18-35 years old and predominately from 25 different countries.
  • Commission video and blog content throughout the year from contributors.
  • Source and run an on-brand competition every month
  • Produce brand-sponsored content.
  • Evaluate the performance of the content on a weekly basis to grow audience numbers and level of interaction.

Social media:

  • To manage and create content for our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts, on a daily basis.
  • To manage our Weibo and Wechat intern and grow numbers on these platforms.
  • Participate in groups and forums to seed our content on a daily basis.
  • Create and manage a Facebook group to create a sense of community amongst our followers.
  • Produce brand-sponsored content.
  • Evaluate the performance of the content on a weekly basis to grow audience numbers and level of interaction.

Building the brand:

  • Promote the magazine by speaking at events that will benefit the business’ drive.

Project manage the new build of the website:

  • Project manage the new build of the website to go live by Sept 2018.

The Details

Location: We’re based just off Oxford Circus, London, in an office share

Salary and Package: Initial three-month freelance contract at £1,660pm with the chance of securing a full-time position at £25,000pa.
