Heard is an award-winning charity that works with people, the media and organisations to inspire stories and communication that change hearts and minds.

For over 15 years, we’ve supported storytellers, campaigners and cultural influencers to transform how complex social justice issues are understood — reaching tens of millions of people each year.

Climate Stories That Work is Heard’s largest programme. It focuses on improving how climate change is communicated in mainstream media and culture by moving away from guilt, shame and doom, and towards narratives that are engaging, human and audience-first. The programme works across TV, training and trusted messengers to help climate stories show up more effectively in everyday media and public conversation.

The Role

We’re looking for a Programme Coordinator to support the delivery of the Climate programme. This is a varied, hands-on role, working across multiple strands of activity including TV delivery, training, events, and trusted messenger work.

You’ll play a key role in coordinating activity, tracking progress and supporting high-quality delivery. You’ll be organising workshops and events, preparing materials, supporting research, and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders including media organisations, partners, funders and creative professionals.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, collaborative and comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and who is motivated by contributing to long-term social and narrative change.

Further details about the role, responsibilities, and person specification can be found in the full job pack link below.
